The vacancy
Every moment counts. Every memory matters. Come and join our Family Support Service team as a Social Worker and provide exceptional care and support to children with life limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Qualification requirements:
Applicants for this role must be a Registered Social Worker Qualified to Degree level with current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) with relevant post-qualification experience at Band 6 or equivalent level.
Experience or training/qualification of working with children/Young People and their families in Palliative Care and Bereavement. Safeguarding Training to Level 4 or working towards.
Line Management experience is also required as you will be managing two teams spread across the two counties.
You will be based at our Wiltshire or Dorset Hospice and work across Wiltshire and Dorset in the homes of the children we look after and be expected too:
